The box, apparently offered inspiration for the story, contains a copy of ‘Model Research: The National Advisory Committee For Aeronautics 1918-1958’, a book by Alex Roland, professor of military history. The box also contains Amazing Stories Magazine of August 1928, which features a man in flying suit on its cover – the first emergence of Buck Rogers, the time-leaping hero.

The box also contains some kind of 45 record, the nozzle of a tiny rocket engine and some scattered photos of Walt Disney.

1952 got a lot of wild guesses from people about its storyline and obviously the makers of the film wanted to tease that longer. Some guesses pointed that it was the working title of the forthcoming Star Wars: Episode VII, when Walt Disney Co. acquired Lucasfilm first. Some other guesses pointed towards its connection with creation of Disneyland, which started in 1955. 1952 was the year though of the foundation of the Imagineering division of Disney.

Now it has been revealed that the last guess was the nearest. Disney has been trying to create more films for a decade of its Disneyland as well as Walt Disney World properties and have sometimes got great success, like with Pirate of the Caribbean and sometimes with a less success. Now Guillermo del Toro is at work for developing a refurbished version of The Haunted Mansion of 2003, although its status is uncertain.

The script of the film is being worked on by Bird and Lindelof and these two and Jensen will share story credit, and Jensen, the writer of the Eisner-winning Green River Killer, will be enlisted as executive producer.

Even though it is influenced by Glee, Pitch Perfect is stranger and funnier than the TV show. The music in the movie is alright, but nothing so special and impressive, although the performance is really lovely. This way you just cannot feel empathy with any character in the movie and that makes it less realistic. Anna Kendrick is great in her role as Beca and Rebel Wilson has done his job well, he is hilarious.
